My Story

Shamora’s music is inspirational and real. Her heartfelt melodies along with lyrical content, connect to listeners in ALL walks of life. Her music has a way of starting conversations, connecting people, and inspiring all who listen.

 

An accomplished artist, songwriter, and producer, Shamora’s work in the music industry has helped sell millions. She has written and produced for artists such as: J. Lo, Monica, Blu Cantrell, and Angie Stone just to name a few; and she has arranged for Elton John and Mary J. Blige. As a recognized songwriter and producer, she is also a Dove Award nominee. With a songwriting and production career that was continuing to flourish, Shamora decided to embark on another journey. Shamora has currently released her two highly anticipated albums entitled “Therapy: The Love Sessions” and “Therapy: The Live Sessions”, which were released through her own record label, Striker Records.

 

Shamora’s music is authentic, relevant, and necessary for this time. While listening to her music, you are connected in a way that makes you feel like she’s singing directly to you and your situation. She is the voice of this generation!

 

Shamora has performed at the Allstate Gospel Superfest and was featured as an up and coming artist on Dr. Bobby Jones Presents. Shamora has also opened for Frankie Beverly and Maze, Charlie Wilson, El DeBarge, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, the NAACP Leadership Conference, Praise in the Park in Atlanta (the biggest free inspirational concert in the country), and many more. She also offers inspiration to those who are often forgotten in society, by volunteering her voice to men at the Atlanta Federal Prison, women and children at various domestic violence shelters in metro Atlanta and with the childhood cancer support group “Jay’s Hope”. Through her music, Shamora has been able to reach those who are hurt, lost, and broken. Listeners are encouraged, and hope is restored, and the healing process begins!
